University Education

The NFCS takes a part in teaching electrical engineering and high-voltage technology subjects for students at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. This education is complemented by practical demonstrations and measurements conducted in the High-Voltage Laboratory and the KNX Laboratory. These hands-on activities are an integral part of the curriculum for electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering programs, as well as for the university courses taught by the High-Voltage Technology and Equipment Group.

If you have questions regarding university education, various training programs, or the subjects taught, please visit the Education section.

The Department of Electrical Engineering, and specifically the High-Voltage Technology and Equipment Group, aims to provide engaging and practically relevant research topics that are supported by industry players and beneficial for academic advancement. Students involved in project laboratory work or writing theses and graduation projects have the opportunity to participate in the research conducted by NFCS.

Additionally, the department has a long-standing tradition of a demonstrator program, which allows undergraduate and master's students to progressively engage with the daily activities of the High-Voltage Technology and Equipment Group, whether in teaching, research, or development.
