NAH-accredited tests
Within the scope of NAH-accredited tests, it is possible to carry out accredited inspections and expert assessments of equipment used in practice. The Laboratory is capable of testing equipment for low-voltage, near-live working, as well as equipment for medium- and high-voltage live-line working.
The Laboratory operates a quality management system compliant with MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 in the following areas:
- Acceptance and periodic testing of insulated-boom aerial platform vehicles
- Acceptance and periodic testing of electrostatic protective clothing
- Acceptance and periodic testing of insulating ropes
- Acceptance and periodic testing of overhead-line gondolas
- Acceptance and periodic testing of insulating rods
- Determination of the electric strength of solid insulating materials
- DC, AC and impulse voltage testing of high-voltage insulation
- Testing of the levels of electric and magnetic fields generated by AC electric power systems

Diagnostic tests
From the point of view of the operation of electrical networks, knowing the condition of individual pieces of equipment can be considered a key question. The reliable operation of the often very expensive equipment used in the electric power network is essential for ensuring the electricity supply. Properly carried out diagnostics of the various pieces of equipment are needed to ensure continuous operation. The High Voltage Technology and Equipment Group is able to carry out professional diagnostic testing of electrical equipment in the High Voltage Laboratory:

- Electrical fast transient/burst immunity test (IEC 61000-4-4)

- Conducted RF disturbance immunity test (MSZ EN 61000-4-6)
- Power-frequency magnetic field immunity test (IEC 61000-4-8:2009)
- Voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations immunity test (IEC 61000-4-11)
